Brick work

The garage walls are slowly being bricked, at least two side have been done today. 

Smart meter

Our new smart meter has been installed. 

Bricks

The workman have strategically placed piles of bricks around the perimeter of the house in preparation for the next stage - bricking. I am not sure when this task will commence but I will keep you posted.

This is the closest colour to clinker red bricks like our old house.

 

Plumbing starting to happen...


I drove past the house on Friday 5th July, and saw the plumbers there working away, they have been installing the various hot and cold taps around the house. Here are some of the workings.

Roof Tiles

Roof Tiles are nearly complete.

 

 

The ground floor of the house has been wrapped with insulation material. The upper storey is yet to be done. However the roof tiles are all on the top storey, but there must be a leak somewhere as there is a huge pool of water in the hallway of the house. We can see where the water has been dripping through the flooring upstairs.
